This role ensures cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality, compliance, and timely delivery. The officer negotiates with suppliers, manages contracts, and maintains records to support efficient procurement operations.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\nProcurement &amp; Sourcing:<br \/>\n\u2013 Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.<br \/>\n\u2013 Prepare and issue RFQs (Request for Quotations), RFPs (Request for Proposals), and tenders.<br \/>\n\u2013 Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure the best deals.<br \/>\n\u2013 Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.<br \/>\nPurchase Order &amp; Inventory Management:<br \/>\n\u2013 Process purchase orders (POs) and track deliveries to ensure on-time supply.<br \/>\n\u2013 Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.<br \/>\n\u2013 Resolve discrepancies in orders, invoices, or deliveries.<br \/>\nSupplier &amp; Vendor Management:<br \/>\n\u2013 Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.<br \/>\n\u2013 Conduct supplier performance reviews and audits.<br \/>\n\u2013 Identify and onboard new vendors to diversify supply sources.<br \/>\nCompliance &amp; Reporting:<br \/>\n\u2013 Ensure procurement activities comply with legal and organizational policies.<br \/>\n\u2013 Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.<br \/>\n\u2013 Prepare reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.<br \/>\nQualifications &amp; Skills:<br \/>\n-Education: Bachelor\u2019s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.<br \/>\n\u2013 Experience: 2+ years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.<br \/>\n\u2013 Certifications (Preferred):<br \/>\n\u2013 CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement &amp; Supply)<br \/>\n\u2013 CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management)<br \/>\n\u2013 Technical Skills:<br \/>\n\u2013 Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.<br \/>\n\u2013 Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).<br \/>\n\u2013\u00a0Soft Skills:<br \/>\n\u2013 Negotiation, analytical thinking, attention to detail.<br \/>\n\u2013 Strong communication and vendor management skills.<br \/>\nPreferred Qualifications:<br \/>\n\u2013 Experience in government procurement or public sector tendering.<br \/>\n\u2013 Knowledge of e-procurement platforms**.<br \/>\n\u2013 Familiarity with international trade and import\/export regulations.<br \/>\nSalary &amp; Benefits:<br \/>\n\u2013 Competitive salary based on experience.<br \/>\n\u2013 Health insurance, retirement plans, performance bonuses.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
