The ideal candidate will be responsible for all payables side of the team. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\nManagement of petty cash including issuing and reimbursement of float<br \/>\nPosting of petty cash expenses in the system<br \/>\nDrawdown of reimbursement from the bank as well as any authorised cash withdrawals<br \/>\nChecking that supplier invoices comply with fiscal regulations and internal supporting documentation is attached before updating these in Evolution<br \/>\nPreparation of supplier payments according to the payment cycle and guided by the cash flow<br \/>\nProcessing of Supplier Journals &amp; General Journals as may be required<br \/>\nReconciling of supplier accounts monthly.<br \/>\nReconciles assigned Control accounts monthly<br \/>\nAssisting in stock take preparation and processing<br \/>\nQualifications:<br \/>\nEducation:\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CA(ZM) preferred.<br \/>\nExperience:\u00a0Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or related roles and in the FMCG Sector<br \/>\nSkills:\u00a0Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage Evolution, Syspro, SAP), advanced Excel skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.<br \/>\nKnowledge:\u00a0Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.<br \/>\nAttributes:\u00a0Detail-oriented, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.<br \/>\nShould you be interested in applying for this role, please submit your detailed CV, copies of relevant qualifications, relevant professional accreditation, registrations, and ID\/Passport to\u00a0undefined.
