\nWe are looking for\u00a0a\u00a0motivated and dedicated Midwife to join our Maternal and Child Health section\u00a0and a General worker.
\nMIDWIFE (1)
\nPosition: Midwife
\nJob Type: Contract

\nLocation: Chimwemwe, Kitwe
\nJob Purpose
\nTo provide compassionate and quality patient care, educate patients, monitor vital signs, administer medication, and maintain accurate medical records.
\nDuties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Plan, organize, and implement all sexual and reproductive health activities at the facility in liaison with other healthcare professionals.
\nOffer full antenatal and postnatal care, including screening tests both in the facility and the community.
\nProvide maternal and family support during preconception, pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum phase.
\nMonitor and examine women during and after pregnancy, and during labour and delivery.
\nEducate and counsel patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and family planning.
\nComprehensively provide health care services to children under the age of 5, including growth monitoring and curative care.
\nAdminister vaccines in line with the immunization schedule for children ensuring proper documentation.<\/p>\n

Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications<\/p>\n
Full Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
\nDiploma in Nursing and fully licensed\/registered to practice in the appropriate jurisdiction
\nDegree in Nursing is an added advantage
\nMust be a qualified ZRN\/ZRM from a recognized institution
\nValid practicing license issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ)
\n2 years of relevant work experience
\nQualifications must be verified and validated by ZAQA<\/p>\n
GENERAL WORKER (1)
\nPosition: General Worker
\nJob Type: Contract
\nSalary: Competitive
\nLocation: Chimwemwe,Kitwe
\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining floors in good condition
\nDusting and polishing surfaces and furniture
\nCleaning and sanitizing restrooms and ensuring they are stocked with supplies (toilet tissue, hand soap, etc.)
\nTrash collection and proper disposal
\nMinor maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing toilets or basic fittings)
\nLawn care using a lawn mower
\nReporting any defects or safety hazards to the supervisor
\nBasic knowledge of operating a generator and solar energy systems is an added advantage<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
Grade 9 certificate (Added Advantage)
\nAt least 1 year of relevant work experience<\/p>\n
