\nIMPLEMENTATION ENGINEER \u2013 CIVIL (RE-ADVERTISED)
\nPurpose of the Job
\nTo undertake Project Engineering activities involving scoping project implementation and management works for the utility\u2019s infrastructure.
\nMain accountabilities<\/p>\n
Carries out preliminary in-house scoping of all Engineering works, end user consultations, specifications, and check basic design data of engineering drawings to ensure that they are in line with the overall project design.
\nUndertakes preliminary reviews of the Engineering designs to and from Consultants and Mulonga Water & Sewerage Company (MWSC).
\nAssists superior prepare and\/or carrying out preliminary reviews of technical specifications for tender documents for the supply of goods, works and services for approval.
\nParticipates in tender evaluation and awarding of contracts for the Projects as assigned.
\nCarries out project implementation activities from pre-commencement meetings, progress meeting and close out processes.
\nEnsures project adheres to TQC Principles.
\nCarries out preliminary scrutiny of payment certificates from Contractors, Suppliers and consultants in readiness for payments.
\nWorks closely with the Community Mobilization and Social Specialist on community water and sanitation activities of the Project.<\/p>\n
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate with Five (5) O Levels
\nBachelor\u2019s Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
\nRegistered Engineer with the Engineering Registration Board (ERB)
\nMember of EIZ and ERB
\n3 years\u2019 experience in a similar role
\nValid Driver\u2019s License with minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience (Ability to Drive Manual Vehicle)<\/p>\n
