\nASSISTANT OPERATORS \u2013 BREWING X2
\nGRADE C
\nCONTRACT: PERMANENT
\nReporting to the Brewing Team Leader, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:<\/p>\n
Mixes raw materials proportionately for brewing
\nRaw materials in stores are properly rotated so that they can be used on a first-in-first-out basis
\nPrepare for plant start up
\nStart-up plant and Shut down the plant
\nRun the plant
\nExecute cleaning of plant
\nComplete all documentation Control inputs usage
\nMaintain safe and healthy work environment
\nMeasure performance attributes
\nRecord performance attributes
\nMonitor and evaluate trends
\nAssure quality of inputs
\nInitiate corrective action
\nPerform cleaning of the equipment as per standard.
\nRaising of job cards for equipment problems.
\nExecute basic lubrication and inspection tasks
\nChange worn out V-belts on tanks
\nShift efficiencies (Process Times)
\nProduct Quality Index (Brix, Flow rate, Alcohol, Taste results)
\nBeer loss to be within specification
\nUsage ratios (raw materials, water, energy, electricity)
\nMarket Quality Index<\/p>\n
This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate
\nDiploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
\nBe computer literate, Experience with Manufacturing Systems, Experience with Safety Systems.
\nKnowledge of SAP is added advantage.
\nAt least 2-3 years working experience in FMCG industry.
\nReliable, Trustworthy, self-disciplined and Hardworking.
