Our advanced machinery supports national food security \u2013 join us to power innovation from grain to oil.<br \/>\nThe Role<br \/>\nWe seek an experienced Industrial Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize electrical systems across our four production plants (Stock Feed, Milling, Soya &amp; Refinery). Ensure operational continuity in high-demand environments while working with cutting-edge industrial automation.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\nMachinery Maintenance &amp; Repair:<br \/>\nTroubleshoot\/repair plant-specific equipment:<br \/>\nStock Feed: Pelletizers, mixers, conveyors<br \/>\nMilling: Roller mills, sifters, packaging lines<br \/>\nSoya: Extruders, dehullers, solvent plant controls<br \/>\nRefinery: Boilers, centrifuges, PLC-driven filtration systems<br \/>\nPerform predictive maintenance on motors (up to 415V), VFDs, and control panels.<br \/>\nSystems &amp; Safety Compliance:<br \/>\nDiagnose PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMIs, and SCADA networks.<br \/>\nImplement LOTO protocols in ATEX\/IECEx hazardous zones.<br \/>\nConduct electrical safety audits across all sites.<br \/>\nReporting &amp; Collaboration:<br \/>\nDocument work orders via CMMS (e.g., Fiix).<br \/>\nTrain technicians on multi-plant electrical standards.<br \/>\nCoordinate with production teams to minimize downtime.<br \/>\nQualifications<br \/>\nEssential:<br \/>\nValid ZEIC License (Grade 1 or higher).<br \/>\n5+ years\u2019 industrial electrical experience in FMCG\/processing plants.<br \/>\nExpertise in 3-phase systems, motor controls, and PLC troubleshooting.<br \/>\nProficiency with multimeters, meggers, and power quality analyzers.<br \/>\nAdvantageous:<br \/>\nPLC programming certifications (TIA Portal\/Rockwell) or HV\/LV switching.<br \/>\nExperience with:<br \/>\nSolvent extraction plant instrumentation (soya)<br \/>\nRefinery boiler\/steam system controls<br \/>\nATEX dust explosion prevention<br \/>\nForklift\/working-at-heights certification.<br \/>\nWe Offer<br \/>\nSalary: ZMW 3,500 \u2013 5,000\/month (experience-based) + overtime<br \/>\nGrowth: Technical upskilling &amp; leadership pathways<br \/>\nSafety: Zero-tolerance policy; ISO 45001-compliant sites<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
