Helps maintain buildings, grounds and equipment, as well as utilities and their use. Coordinates with other facility maintenance disciplines to complete tasks to minimize disruptions to hospital operation.<br \/>\nThis role assists the Facility Manager to ensure seamless operations and maintenance of the hospital facility and infrastructure.<br \/>\nESSENTIAL DUTIES:<br \/>\nInstall, maintain and repair electrical wiring and controls systems.<br \/>\nRead and understand technical diagrams, blueprints, manuals and datasheets<br \/>\nPerform general electrical inspections and maintenance for transformers, panels, circuit breakers, battery systems, lighting and other electrical components.<br \/>\nPerform regular inspections and monitoring of the solar power plant.\u00a0 Perform and adhere to operation and maintenance requirements, including routine maintenance, as required.<br \/>\nComplete checklists during daily , weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi and annual inspection and maintenance.<br \/>\nUnderstand, maintain, manage, schedule and utilize the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to inventory, schedule, document and report electrical maintenance activities.<br \/>\nTroubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.<br \/>\nMaintain good knowledge of mechanical, security and ICT Systems.<br \/>\nChampion electrical safety in the hospital.<br \/>\nCoordinate third-party project and service contractors.<br \/>\nAssist the biomedical personnel in medical equipment maintenance and support as needed.<br \/>\nMaintain and manage all tools and equipment related to the function<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with all requirements of the quality management system (SAFECARE) and other related hospital standards.<br \/>\nSupports the purchasing of electrical equipment, spares, parts and supplies<br \/>\nBe available on call as and including weekends, nights, and holidays when need arises.<br \/>\nOTHER DUTIES<br \/>\nPlease note this position description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the co-worker for this position. Co-worker must perform other tasks, duties, and projects as assigned.<br \/>\nThis includes maintenance team leadership in the following areas:<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Implement and assure follow-up of maintenance strategy documented through Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and support maintenance team in achieving maintenance objectives for the facility.<br \/>\nMonitors and maintains the CMMS and provides training to users of the system.\u00a0 Annually completes an audit of the information in the system and works with the Facility Manager to correct and update the system information.<br \/>\nLead and train maintenance team in the approved practices and procedures for proper facility and equipment maintenance.<br \/>\nAssists the Facility Manager in developing and implementing maintenance schedules for facilities and related non-medical equipment that are not under service agreement.<br \/>\nReports maintenance activities, accomplishments, and incidents to the Facility Manager<br \/>\nEDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:<br \/>\nDiploma in Electrical and Electronics engineering\u00a0 5 or more years of work experience.<br \/>\nExperience in Solar power systems is preferred<br \/>\nExperience and capability in CMMS softwares is preferred.<br \/>\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES:<br \/>\nGood working knowledge of energy systems including utility supplies, generators and solar systems.<br \/>\nGood working knowledge of established electrical procedures and safety rules.<br \/>\nGood command of English and local languages.<br \/>\nGood competency in using a computer and softwares such as Microsoft Word, and Excel, and ability to learn new software programs.\u00a0 Computer Maintenance Management systems competency is preferred.<br \/>\nGood written documenting and reporting skills.<br \/>\nCOMPETENCIES:<br \/>\nAttention to Details.
