\nCOMMERCIAL MANAGER
\nPurpose of the Job
\nTo develop the business through managing and coordinating the commercial functions in the Division in order to enhance revenue generation and collection for MWSC and achieve set revenue targets.
\nMain accountabilities<\/p>\n
Review the market on a continuous basis and exploit emerging opportunities to enhance company revenue base.
\nDevise and implement commercial and business strategies aimed at ensuring timely collection of revenue from all clients, to enable the Company operate as a viable business enterprise.
\nCollect all billed revenues, including arears, to ensure cash flow sustainability
\nOrganize and co-ordinate market research to establish customers\u2019 areas of dissatisfaction and introduce alternative methods to redress the situation.
\nEnsure growth in revenue generation through customer retention and enhanced new water and sewer connections.
\nEnsure that Database clean-up is done on monthly basis.
\nCarry out thorough Billing Analysis and give recommendation for improvement.
\nResolve customer complaints and requests within stipulated service level agreements.
\nResolve audit queries within the required timeframe.
\nAssess the performance of support staff and arranges suitable training.
\nPrepare departmental budget and contribute to the departmental efficiency savings by ensuring that the allocated budget is not exceeded.
\nSupervises, coaches and motivates staff to ensure that employees perform to expectations.<\/p>\n
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate with Five (5) O Levels
\nDegree in Business related field
\n5 years post qualification experience
\nValid Driver\u2019s License with minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience (Ability to Drive Manual Vehicle) will be an added advantage<\/p>\n
