RPA\u2019s mandate is to protect the public, workers and the environment from hazards arising from the use of devices or materials capable of producing Ionising Radiation.<br \/>\nThe Authority has a vacancy for the following position:<br \/>\nTransport Officer (1)<br \/>\nReports To: Senior Human Resources and Administration Officer<br \/>\nLocation: Lusaka<br \/>\nJob Objective<br \/>\nTo supervise the drivers and manage the fleet, in order to facilitate the mobility of officers, materials and equipment.<br \/>\nKey Accountabilities<br \/>\n1. Manages effectively the Authority\u2019s fleet in order to facilitate maintenance and ensure they are in good working order.<br \/>\n2. Manages the effective provision of transport in order to facilitate the mobility of staff, materials, and equipment.<br \/>\n3. Supervises drivers effectively in order to ensure they adhere to safety regulations and standards.<br \/>\n4. Supervises and undertakes timely preparation of accident reports in order to facilitate decision making.<br \/>\n5. Attend to day-to-day operational transport requirements by responding to transport requests<br \/>\n6. Mange the access, usage and accountability of fuel for all Authority vehicles.<br \/>\n7. Maintain all the necessary records and documentation of all vehicles and vehicle related incidences; accident incident reports, handover forms, fuel requisitions etc.<br \/>\n8. Undertakes timely development of work plans and implementation of performance appraisal system (APAS) in order to monitor, evaluate and enhance performance<br \/>\n9. Undertaking any other tasks\/assignments as may be delegated by the supervisor<br \/>\nMinimum Vocational\/Professional Qualifications<br \/>\n1. Full Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate with 5 \u2018O\u2019 levels with credit or better including Mathematics and English Language.<br \/>\n2. Diploma in Transport and Logistics Management (CILT) or equivalent.<br \/>\n3. Degree in Transport and Logistics Management, Business Administration or equivalent is an added advantage.<br \/>\n4. Paid up Member of Zambia Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.<br \/>\nMinimum Relevant Pre-Job Experience<br \/>\n1. Three (3) years\u2019 experience in a similar position.<br \/>\n2. Minimum Two Years Driving experience with a valid unrestricted driving license<br \/>\nAttributes and Skills<br \/>\n1. Ability to interpret and apply Road Traffic Regulations issued under the Road Traffic Act No. 11 of 2002.<br \/>\n2. Good Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in English<br \/>\n3. Good knowledge of office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc<br \/>\n4. Ability to work with limited supervision and highly organized.<br \/>\n5. Leadership skills, Negotiation and Analytical skills<br \/>\n6. Conflict resolution<br \/>\n7.
