\nLe Elementos Boutique Hotel is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Consultant Accountant to provide strategic financial support on a part-time or contract basis. The ideal candidate will offer hands-on guidance in streamlining financial operations and ensuring compliance with best accounting practices.
\n Location: Lusaka

\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Provide expert financial oversight and strategic advisory to senior management
\nReview, evaluate, and enhance internal financial controls and systems
\nAssist with the preparation and review of budgets, cash flow forecasts, and long-term financial plans
\nConduct internal audits to assess compliance and identify financial risks
\nMonitor and advise on tax compliance, statutory filings, and regulatory requirements
\nAnalyze financial statements and deliver regular performance reports
\nSupport payroll processing and ensure accuracy in statutory contributions (NAPSA, ZRA, NHIMA)
\nRecommend improvements in cost control and revenue management
\nProvide training or mentorship to the in-house accounts team
\nAssist during external audits and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
\nSet up or review accounting software and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA, CIMA, or ZICA certification preferred)
\nMinimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in accounting or consultancy roles
\nPrior experience in the hospitality industry is strongly preferred
\nIn-depth knowledge of local tax laws, regulatory frameworks, and financial compliance
\nProficiency in accounting software such as Pastel, QuickBooks, or Sage
\nStrong financial analysis and reporting skills
\nExcellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
\nAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain financial matters to non-finance staff<\/p>\n
