Introduction<br \/>\nWe are seeking for a dedicated and professional Lodge Receptionist to provide excellent customer service and administrative support at our front desk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, handling reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in\/check-out process.<br \/>\n2. Key Responsibilities<br \/>\nGreet and assist guests upon arrival and departure.<br \/>\nHandle reservations, cancellations, and inquiries via phone and in person.<br \/>\nMaintain accurate records of guest information and bookings.<br \/>\nProcess payments and maintain financial records related to guest stays.<br \/>\nCoordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready.<br \/>\nProvide guests with information about lodge services and local attractions.<br \/>\nHandle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.<br \/>\nEnsure the front desk area is clean and well-organized at all times.<br \/>\n3. Qualifications &amp; Requirements<br \/>\nMust be a female candidate residing in Chipata.<br \/>\nMust have a Grade 12 certificate with not more than 20 points.<br \/>\nMust have completed Grade 12 within the last two years (candidates who completed more than three years ago will not be considered).<br \/>\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.<br \/>\nBasic computer literacy is an added advantage.<br \/>\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.<br \/>\nCustomer service experience is an advantage but not mandatory.<br \/>\n4. Reporting &amp; Supervision<br \/>\nThe Lodge Receptionist will report to the Lodge Manager and work closely with housekeeping, reservations, and other lodge staff.<br \/>\n5. Work Conditions<br \/>\nThe position requires flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.<br \/>\nThe work environment is fast-paced, requiring attention to detail and a welcoming attitude.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
