\nRole Overview
\nWe are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital & Social Media Officer Intern to support the organization\u2019s digital marketing and communication strategy. This role is ideal for someone who\u2019s passionate about content creation, storytelling, and analytics, and who can effectively use both traditional and AI-enhanced tools to grow and engage digital audiences.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Manage daily content posting across all social media platforms
\nPlan and execute email marketing campaigns targeting key user groups
\nDevelop and publish blog posts, graphics, including\u00a0 short-form video content for meta reels and TikTok
\nRun and monitor paid advertising campaigns on Meta and Google
\nOptimize content and website performance through effective SEO practices
\nSupport product launches, virtual campaigns, and inbound lead generation<\/p>\n
Core Skills & Knowledge Areas<\/p>\n
Proficient in Canva for social graphics, animations, and presentations
\nExperience using Meta Ads Manager , Google Ads and LinkedIn platforms
\nFamiliarity with email marketing tools like Mailchimp or Brevo
\nUnderstanding of SEO, keyword research, and content marketing strategies
\nBasic video editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, or similar tools<\/p>\n
Knowledge of AI Tools & Platforms \u2013 Required
\nThe intern should be comfortable using AI-powered tools to enhance digital marketing activities, including:<\/p>\n
AI content generators (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai) for captions, email drafts, and blogs
\nAI image editors and visual enhancers (e.g., Canva AI, Adobe Firefly)
\nSEO optimization tools with AI features (e.g., Surfer SEO, Frase)
\nAnalytics and reporting enhancements using AI tools in Google Data Studio or Meta Insights<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
Diploma or Degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field
\nAt least 1 year of hands-on experience managing social media or digital campaigns (personal, freelance, or agency)
\nCompletion of relevant certifications is highly preferred, including:
\nMeta Blueprint Certifications
\nGoogle Fundamentals of Digital Marketing \/ Google SEO Certification
\nCanva for Teams or Canva Design School courses<\/p>\n
