We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this role.<br \/>\nWaiter\/Waitress responsibilities include greeting and serving customers, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties and collecting the bill.<br \/>\nIf you are able to perform well in fast-paced environments, we\u2019d like to meet you.<br \/>\nYou should also be a team player and be able to effectively communicate with our Kitchen Staff to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly.<br \/>\nUltimately, it is the duty of our Waiters\/Waitresses to provide an excellent overall dining experience for our guests.<br \/>\nResponsibilities<br \/>\nGreet and escort customers to their tables<br \/>\nPresent menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)<br \/>\nPrepare and Clean tables\/FOH and set up silverware and glasses<br \/>\nOffer menu recommendations upon request<br \/>\nUp-sell additional products when appropriate<br \/>\nTake accurate food and drinks orders<br \/>\nCommunicate order details to the Kitchen Staff<br \/>\nServe food and drink orders<br \/>\nCheck dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems<br \/>\nArrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area \u2022 Deliver checks and collect bill payments<br \/>\nCarry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning<br \/>\nMeet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)<br \/>\nFollow all relevant health department regulations<br \/>\nProvide excellent customer service to guests<br \/>\nRequirements and skills<br \/>\nProven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress for a minimum 1 year in an established restaurant<br \/>\nBasic math skills<br \/>\nExcellent presentation skills<br \/>\nStrong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment<br \/>\nActive listening and effective communication skills<br \/>\nTeam spirit<br \/>\nHigh school diploma; food safety training is a plus<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
