Zambilli is a locally-owned agribusiness startup specialising in the production and distribution of high-quality specialty crops. Our operations are based between Lusaka and our farm in the Lower Zambezi valley area.
\nAs we expand, we are seeking a capable and dependable individual to support a wide range of business functions. This is a full-time, dual-location role involving regular travel between Lusaka and the farm. The position combines elements of operations, administration, logistics, basic finance, staff coordination, and client support.
\nGiven the dynamic nature of the business, the ideal candidate will be highly adaptable, organised, and proactive \u2014 someone who is comfortable managing shifting priorities and contributing across multiple areas as needed.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Harvest & Post-Harvest Management\u00a0\u2013 Coordinate harvests, collection and transportation, maintain accurate harvest records, and oversee grading, sorting, and packaging of produce.
\nOperations & Logistics\u00a0\u2013 Manage stock levels, coordinate supplies, organise deliveries to clients, and ensure all delivery notes, packaging, and transport processes are documented accurately.
\nAdministrative & Financial Support\u00a0\u2013 Handle bookkeeping and expense tracking, maintain petty cash records, support staff attendance monitoring, and assist with the development of inventory or tracking systems.
\nClient Relations & Sales Support\u00a0\u2013 Liaise with clients on orders and deliveries, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments when necessary as well as deal with any issues that may arise.
\nProject & Staff Coordination\u00a0\u2013 Assist with the supervision of farm staff, and support farm-related projects such as infrastructure works & improvements.<\/p>\n
Candidate Profile
\nWe are looking for someone who is:<\/p>\n
Based in Lusaka, with the ability to travel to the farm regularly
\nHas minimum 2-years experience in an operational farm
\nHolds a minimum diploma-level qualification in agri, admin or business
\nHolds a valid driver\u2019s licence and is confident driving long distance
\nProficient in intermediate computer and mobile applications
\nOrganised and reliable, with strong attention to detail
\nAble to work independently and take initiative
\nComfortable working in both field and office environment<\/p>\n
