JOB OPPORTUNITY: STOREKEEPER
\nA Zambian based company operating within the agricultural inputs sector is seeking to recruit a Storekeeper to join its operations in Mkushi, Zambia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, and supporting smooth product flow across departments in line with internal controls and health and safety standards.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Accurately maintain and update stock records using both manual and digital systems
\nMonitor inventory levels and flag re-order needs or stock variances
\nReceive and inspect goods against purchase orders and delivery notes
\nOrganize stock using the First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) method and ensure items are correctly labeled and accessible
\nCoordinate dispatch of goods in liaison with the sales and logistics teams
\nConduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records
\nPrepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports
\nMaintain a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment
\nSupervise and provide direction to warehouse assistants or casual staff<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience:<\/p>\n
Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related field
\n2\u20134 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory control
\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., Sage, Zoho Inventory)
\nGood understanding of stock handling procedures and ZRA documentation
\nKnowledge of health and safety standards related to warehousing
\nStrong organizational and communication skills with high integrity<\/p>\n
