\nAs a proactive and self-motivated HR Specialist, who is passionate about talent development and organizational growth, you will take the initiative to resolve current HR challenges and pioneer new strategies to ensure Kokeb attracts, retains, and develops the best talent as we grow.
\nWhat You\u2019ll Do
\nTalent Acquisition & Onboarding
\nLead end-to-end recruitment for technical and administrative roles.
\nSource top talent through networks, job portals, and head-hunters.
\nDeliver a smooth, professional onboarding experience.
\nLearning & Development
\nDevelop and implement training programs: technical skills, leadership, and compliance.
\nBuild a structured career development and succession planning framework.
\nEmployee Engagement & Culture
\nDrive employee satisfaction initiatives (surveys, feedback sessions, and outings).
\nCollaborate on culture-building activities and internal communication strategies.
\nPerformance Management
\nDesign and manage KPIs, performance reviews, and probation processes.
\nCoach managers and staff in feedback, goal-setting, and performance improvement.
\nCompensation, Benefits & Compliance
\nBenchmark and maintain competitive salary structures and benefit programs.
\nEnsure full compliance with labour laws, HR policies, and Kokeb\u2019s standards.
\nHR Administration & Systems
\nMaintain accurate employee records, attendance, leave, and HR data.
\nImplement HRIS or digital tools to streamline HR processes.
\nStrategic Projects & HR Initiatives
\nIdentify and execute initiatives to improve retention, recruitment, and culture.
\nSupport HR during expansion phases (new sites, additional staff, and new divisions).
\nWho You Are
\nQualifications: Bachelor\u2019s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field.
\nExperience: Minimum of 5 years in HR, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
\nProactive & Independent: A self-starter who takes initiative and drives solutions.
\nCurious & Growth-Oriented: Hungry to learn and explore new HR best practices.
\nStrong Communicator: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and conflict-resolution skills.
\nOrganised & Tech-Savvy: Detail-oriented and capable of managing HR data with proficiency in MS Office (and HRIS experience is a plus).
\nLegally Knowledgeable: Good understanding of Zambian labour law and employment regulations.
\nEthical & Confidential: Demonstrates high integrity and maintains confidentiality at all times.
\nCertification (e.g., ZIHRM) is an advantage.
