We are seeking a reliable, proactive and highly organized Business Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day running of these businesses and provide executive support to the business owner.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\n1. General Business Oversight<br \/>\nCoordinate day-to-day operations across two sites (Agro Shop and Boarding House)<br \/>\nConduct routine site visits to monitor staff performance and facility conditions<br \/>\nAct as liaison between the owner and business staff (shop attendants, cleaners, security, gardener, etc.)<br \/>\n2. Administrative &amp; Student Support (Boarding House)<br \/>\nManage student check-ins, check-outs, and records<br \/>\nHandle inquiries from students\/parents and escalate issues as needed<br \/>\nEnsure utilities, maintenance, and supplies are managed efficiently<br \/>\nSupervise support staff to ensure cleanliness, order, and safety<br \/>\n3. Agro Shop Support<br \/>\nMonitor stock levels and communicate needs to procurement or owner<br \/>\nOccasionally support or supervise sales staff as needed<br \/>\nAssist with basic bookkeeping or daily sales reconciliation<br \/>\n4. Executive\/Personal Assistant Duties<br \/>\nMaintain calendar and reminders for the business owner<br \/>\nRun errands or handle communications on behalf of the owner<br \/>\nProvide weekly updates or reports on business performance<br \/>\nQualifications &amp; Skills:<br \/>\nExperience in business operations, administration, or personal assistant roles (minimum 2 years)<br \/>\nDiploma in Agriculture, Business Management, or related field is an added advantage<br \/>\nStrong communication skills (written and spoken English)<br \/>\nAbility to multitask and manage priorities with minimal supervision<br \/>\nHigh integrity, professionalism, and good organizational skills<br \/>\nComputer literacy (MS Office, WhatsApp, email)<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nDesirable Attributes:<br \/>\nFamiliarity with agro-input retail or experience in a customer-facing business is a plus<br \/>\nExperience managing residential properties, hostels, or student accommodation is an added advantage<br \/>\nMust be based in Lusaka and able to move easily between business locations<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
