We are currently seeking a qualified, dedicated and experienced Security Manager to lead and oversee all security operations across our sites.<br \/>\nJOB PURPOSE<br \/>\nThe Security Manager will be responsible for the overall security operations of Mika Meats, including recruitment, deployment, supervision, and training of security personnel; investigation of security-related incidents; liaison with law enforcement; court proceedings; and management of surveillance systems (e.g., CCTV). The ideal candidate must have a strong background in security management from a reputable institution, with verifiable experience in a similar role.<br \/>\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\nParticipate in the recruitment, vetting, and training of security officers.<br \/>\nDevelop and implement effective deployment schedules and ensure optimal utilization of security personnel.<br \/>\nSupervise and coordinate daily activities of all security staff across Mika Meats facilities.<br \/>\nConduct security audits and assessments to identify risks and recommend mitigation measures.<br \/>\nInvestigate security incidents and see cases through from initial report to police involvement and court processes.<br \/>\nMaintain close liaison with law enforcement agencies and represent the company in legal proceedings as required.<br \/>\nMonitor and maintain CCTV systems, access control, alarm systems, and other surveillance equipment.<br \/>\nDevelop and implement security policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).<br \/>\nPrepare detailed reports and present weekly\/monthly security updates to management.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with legal and regulatory security standards.<br \/>\nREQUIREMENTS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS<br \/>\nProven experience in security management from a reputable institution (e.g., military, police, or private security firm).<br \/>\nMinimum of 5 years in a similar role with traceable references.<br \/>\nStrong knowledge of criminal and civil law related to security.<br \/>\nHands-on experience in case handling and court procedures.<br \/>\nProficiency in the use of CCTV and security systems.<br \/>\nExcellent leadership, communication, and report writing skills.<br \/>\nHigh level of integrity, discipline, and professional ethics.<br \/>\nCertificate or diploma in Security Management, Criminology, or a related field is an added advantage.<br \/>\nKEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)<br \/>\nKPI<br \/>\nTarget\/Indicator<br \/>\nSecurity Staff Recruitment<br \/>\n100% compliance with recruitment standards and timelines<br \/>\nDeployment Efficiency<br \/>\n95% optimal staff deployment and shift coverage<br \/>\nIncident Response Time<br \/>\nAverage response time \u2264 5 minutes<br \/>\nInvestigation Closure Rate<br \/>\n90% of reported incidents fully investigated and documented<br \/>\nCourt Case Management<br \/>\n100% follow-through of all cases filed until resolution<br \/>\nSurveillance Monitoring<br \/>\n24\/7 functional CCTV coverage; 85% satisfaction from internal stakeholders on security performance<br \/>\nTraining &amp; Development<br \/>\n100% of security officers trained at least once per quarter<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
