This critical role involves managing daily financial transactions and maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\nPetty Cash Management:<br \/>\nRecord and reconcile daily petty cash transactions<br \/>\nEnsure documentation and approvals are in line with company policy<br \/>\nStore Collection &amp; Banking:<br \/>\nManage daily cash and credit card collections<br \/>\nPrepare deposit slips and perform timely bank deposits<br \/>\nReconcile sales to bank deposits accurately<br \/>\nStock Organization &amp; Labeling:<br \/>\nTag and label all inventory items<br \/>\nEnsure proper placement in storage\/display areas with accurate codes<br \/>\nExpiry Date Monitoring:<br \/>\nTrack expiry dates, particularly for perishables<br \/>\nReport upcoming expirations to reduce product loss<br \/>\nSales Receipts Reconciliation:<br \/>\nReconcile daily receipts with inventory movement<br \/>\nEnsure accuracy of records across all payment modes<br \/>\nDaily Stock Counting &amp; Scanning:<br \/>\nPerform physical stock counts using scanners<br \/>\nVerify inventory levels and report discrepancies<br \/>\nInter-Store Coordination:<br \/>\nLiaise with other duty-free outlets for seamless operations<br \/>\nManage financial reconciliation across branches<br \/>\nInventory Tracker Maintenance:<br \/>\nUpdate a comprehensive inventory log for daily activities<br \/>\nKeep records audit-ready and up to date<br \/>\nReporting &amp; KPIs:<br \/>\nSubmit regular performance reports using company templates<br \/>\nAdhere to reporting timelines as set by the line manager<br \/>\nWhat We\u2019re Looking For:<br \/>\nDiploma or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field<br \/>\nMinimum 2 years of experience in inventory or accounting roles (retail experience preferred)<br \/>\nProficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Excel<br \/>\nStrong attention to detail and analytical skills<br \/>\nHigh level of integrity and accountability<br \/>\nMust be a member of ZICA<br \/>\nWhy Join Us?<br \/>\nBe part of an international retail environment<br \/>\nWork in a fast-paced, high-standards organization<br \/>\nOpportunities for growth within the duty-free sector<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
