JOB VACANCY:\u00a0PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER (PDPR)
\nWe are seeking a dynamic and innovative Product Development & Public Relations (PDPR) Manager to lead the design, launch, and marketing of our products while managing our public image. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong creative, analytical, and communication skills. This position will play a key role in aligning product strategies with customer needs and public expectations.
\nKey Roles & Responsibilities:
\nProduct Development:
\nIdentify market needs and emerging trends to develop new products and improve existing ones.
\nConduct competitor analysis and feasibility studies for new product ideas.
\nWork with cross-functional teams (design, production, sales) to bring products from concept to launch.
\nDevelop and implement go-to-market strategies for new products.
\nMonitor and evaluate product performance and initiate necessary improvements.
\nPublic Relations:
\nDevelop and implement effective communication strategies to promote the brand, services, and products.
\nWrite and distribute press releases, media kits, and promotional content.
\nBuild and maintain relationships with media outlets, stakeholders, and the public.
\nManage the company\u2019s social media presence and handle media inquiries.
\nOrganize events, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns.
\nMinimum Qualifications & Requirements:
\nA Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Development, or a related field (Master\u2019s degree is an added advantage).
\nMinimum 3 years of proven experience in product development, public relations, or marketing.
\nStrong understanding of market trends, product life cycle, and customer behavior.
\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital marketing tools.
\nCreative thinker with strong organizational and project management skills.
\nAbility to work independently and in a team environment.
\nDesirable Attributes:
\nExperience in brand positioning and storytelling.
\nFamiliarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
\nAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
\nStrong networking and negotiation skills.
\nPreferable those based in COPPERBELT PROVINCE<\/p>\n
