We are looking for individuals to fill the position of Construction Forman.
\nConstruction Foreman
\n1. Supervision and Coordination:<\/p>\n
Supervise and lead construction workers and subcontractors.
\nAssign tasks to workers and ensure they are completed efficiently and correctly.
\nMonitor daily activities on-site and ensure compliance with project plans, schedules, and safety regulations.<\/p>\n
2. Quality Control:<\/p>\n
Inspect work performed by construction crews to ensure quality standards.
\nAddress any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.<\/p>\n
3. Safety Management:<\/p>\n
Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
\nConduct regular safety meetings and ensure that all workers are equipped with proper safety gear.<\/p>\n
4. Resource Management:<\/p>\n
Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials and equipment.
\nMonitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
\nEnsure optimal use of labor and materials to avoid waste.
\nProject Planning and Reporting:
\nAssist in planning and scheduling construction activities.
\nReport progress to site management, highlighting any potential delays or issues.
\nKeep accurate records of work hours, materials used, and job progress.<\/p>\n
5. Communication:<\/p>\n
Act as the main liaison between site management, workers, and subcontractors.
\nCommunicate any changes in plans or schedules to all relevant parties.<\/p>\n
6. Problem Solving:<\/p>\n
Identify and resolve any issues that arise on-site, including technical problems, labor disputes, or equipment failures.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Diploma in Civil Engineering with 2 years xperience or a Trade Certificate in Building with a 5 years experience in similar role.<\/p>\n
Skills Required:<\/p>\n
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
\nExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.
\nProficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
\nKnowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
\nTake and follow instructions from site management.<\/p>\n
