{"id":4288,"date":"2025-07-14T14:02:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-14T14:02:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/mechanical-technician-at-rdo-equipment-africa\/"},"modified":"2025-07-29T00:14:33","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T00:14:33","slug":"mechanical-technician-at-rdo-equipment-africa","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=4288","title":{"rendered":"Mechanical Technician at RDO Equipment Africa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a qualified Agriculture Mechanic at the RDO Africa Kabwe Workshop.<br \/>\nDuties<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Reassemble machine and equipment following repair, testing and adjusting as necessary.<br \/>\n\u00a0Repair defective engines or engine components and service machines to maintain functionality.<br \/>\nDismantle defective machines for repair using hand tools.<br \/>\nClean equipment parts or tools to repair or maintain in good working order.<br \/>\n\u00a0Keep the working environment clean.<br \/>\n\u00a0Inspect tractors OR Combines engines and mechanical components to diagnose the issue accurately.<br \/>\n\u00a0Conducting routine maintenance work (replacing fluid, lubricating parts), aiming to maintain machine functionality.<br \/>\n\u00a0Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g leaks).<br \/>\n\u00a0Document daily equipment inspections and submit daily inspection forms to supervisors.<br \/>\n\u00a0Any duties assigned by Management<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Grade 12 certificate as entry level.<br \/>\nCertificate in Heavy Equipment Machines or Agriculture Equipment<br \/>\n2 years or more of experience on John Deere Machines<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
