Job Title: Compliance Controller
\nLocation: Ndola , Zambia
\nDepartment: Compliance
\nReporting to: Compliance Supervisor Ndola
\nJob Overview:
\nAs a Compliance controller you are expected to be Conversant with ZRA cap 322 of the ZRA act and bonded warehouse management. You are expected to ensure that all bonded warehouse activities and all customs clearance processes a adhere to the requirements and provisions of the customs and excise act and customs and excise (general) regulations. You also expected to have a good working relationship with customs and stake holders.
\nThis position demands a high level of compliance, accuracy, attention to detail. and excellent communication skills to ensure smooth customs operations.
\nSkills & Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Basic knowledge of Customs operations and logistics.
\nDiploma in customs clearing and forwarding or similar qualification.
\nHave extensive knowledge and experience in bonded warehouse management.
\nProficiency with the Asycuda system and basic computer skills.
\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.
\nAbility to work well both independently and as part of a team.
\nStrong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and other departments.
\nA minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role.<\/p>\n
Personal Attributes:<\/p>\n
Conversant with ZRA cap 322 of the ZRA act.
\nBe conversant with tariff classifications and bonded warehouse Management.
\nHigh ethical standards and understanding of customs regulations.
\nAbility to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
\nHigh level of compliance and adhering to set KPIs.
\nProblem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolving customs queries.<\/p>\n
