The job holder will be responsible for preparing weekly, monthly and annual reports, Bank accounts reconciliation maintenance, analyse financial information and summarize financial status, handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings, reconcile accounts payable and receivable, compute taxes and prepare tax returns and maintain an asset register,\u00a0prepare audit financial transactions and reports, financial data confidentiality and facilitate compliance with Zambian financial policies and regulations.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\nAbility to timely prepare Cashbooks and complete Bank reconciliation statements, ensure that the accounting system is updated all the time.<br \/>\nAbility to accurately prepare and register new employees in readiness for inclusion under the NAPSA, NHIMA &amp; PAYE registers for the Company.<br \/>\nAbility to prepare wages and labour contracts.<br \/>\nEnsure that all statutory accounts are up to date.<br \/>\nRespond to any queries that may arise from statutory organizations such as ZRA, NAPSA, Workers\u2019 Compensation , NHIMA timely for designated companies.<br \/>\nAbility to timely and accurately file all returns and return all data both electronic and hard copy data.<br \/>\nAbility to fully understand Company SOPs, able to follow company\u2019s rules with self-discipline, and give feedback on the implementation of the regulations timely, and put forward reasonable suggestions for improvement.<br \/>\nQualifications &amp; Requirements:<br \/>\nMinimum diploma in Accounting, ZiCA Licentiate.<br \/>\n3 years relevant experience in similar role.<br \/>\nMust be a registered member of ZiCA.<br \/>\nConversant with Quick books.<br \/>\nExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.<br \/>\nDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.<br \/>\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excel.<br \/>\nIf you have the qualifications to desire to join our dynamic team and you are highly proactive with a positive attitude, you might be just the person we are looking for.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
