We are committed to compassionate and empathetic service delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering healthy relationships between patients and providers.<br \/>\nWe are looking for passionate and dedicated Nurses,Clinical Officers (COs) and a Data Entry Clerk to join our team on this exciting journey of make a difference in our community.<br \/>\nNURSES<br \/>\nJob Type: Contract<br \/>\nSalary: Competitive<br \/>\nLocation: Chimwemwe, Kitwe<br \/>\nJOB PURPOSE<br \/>\nTo provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care while adhering to ethical standards and codes of conduct<br \/>\nMain Activities<br \/>\nMaintain a hygienic and safe work environment in accordance with the KFCMC Healthcare Standards and all associated policies and procedures.<br \/>\nTriage all patients that visit KFCMC for urgent care and priorities patients as per triage protocol.<br \/>\nPerform physical examinations like blood pressure, pulse, temperature, blood smear testing, weight checks and health histories for all new patients.<br \/>\nMaintain proper and legible nursing documentation and charting, in keeping with best practice guidelines and Healthcare Standards.<br \/>\nMaintain effective written and oral handover procedures of patients to other clinicians and during shift change.<br \/>\nMaintain routine patient observations\/checks, as ordered by the medical doctor or clinical officer.<br \/>\nCreate nursing care plans to assess patient care needs and continued progress based on nursing diagnosis and within scope of practice.<br \/>\nAssist the medical doctors or clinical officer during clinical procedures, as requested.<br \/>\nMonitor for any changes in the patient\u2019s risk assessment.<br \/>\nDiscuss treatment with medical doctors or clinical officer and pharmacists in critical cases.<br \/>\nAttend medical\/clinical rounds, clinic meetings and mandatory in-house training, as required.<br \/>\nCheck and administer medications and injections, and observe for any adverse reactions or side effects.<br \/>\nCheck the medication stock on a regular basis to maintain correct inventory levels, and place orders when required.<br \/>\nCheck medical\/clinical equipment as instructed and present documented reports to the supervisor where equipment needs to be repaired or replaced.<br \/>\nAdminister medications (oral, IV, injections, DDA\u2019s), wound care, other personalized interventions (setting up IV medication, \u00a0etc.) as ordered by the medical doctor or clinical officer.<br \/>\nEnsure that all completed patient documentation is securely entered into the patients\u2019 medical file; this includes, but is not limited to, consent forms, care plans, nursing\/consultation notes, fluid balance sheets, discharge summary, risk assessments, medication chart, laboratory results etc.<br \/>\nEnsure that all clinical rooms are clean and safe before and after any procedure.<br \/>\nFollow patient isolation policies and standards at all times.<br \/>\nOffer support and counselling to patients and their families following major diagnosis, surgical procedure etc.<br \/>\nSupport and\/or mentor junior nurses as directed by the supervisor.<br \/>\nPromote good health through patient education and document this in the patients\u2019 medical file.<br \/>\nContinually demonstrate adherence to the Infection Control Policy, especially maintaining proper hand washing technique. Use and maintain correct personal protective equipment (PPE) such as eye protection, gown and gloves where appropriate.<br \/>\nComply with all national legal regulations.<br \/>\nCarry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nQualifications and experience\u00a0:<br \/>\n1.\u00a0Full grade twelve (12) certificate<br \/>\n2.\u00a0Diploma in Nursing, Degree will be an added advantage<br \/>\n3.\u00a0Minimum of 1-3 years experience.<br \/>\n4.\u00a0Valid practicing certificate<br \/>\n5.\u00a0Must be a qualified registered Nurse from a recognised Institution.<br \/>\n6.\u00a0Valid practicing license issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ)<br \/>\n7.\u00a0Qualifications must be Verified and Validated by ZAQA<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nKey Qualities<br \/>\nCustomer-oriented<br \/>\nSelf-motivated<br \/>\nGoal-oriented<br \/>\nProactive and able to work independently<br \/>\nExcellent communication skills<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nCLINICAL OFFICERS<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nJob Type: Contract<br \/>\nSalary: Competitive<br \/>\nLocation: Chimwemwe, Kitwe<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nJOB PURPOSE<br \/>\nTo provide quality primary health care services, including diagnosis, treatment, management, and referral of patients, in line with established medical protocols and ethical standards.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nMain Activities<br \/>\nProvides medical evaluation, treatment and consultation services to patients of the clinic.<br \/>\nResponds to emergencies and answers medical questions<br \/>\nOrder and interpret medical tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment.<br \/>\nConduct routine basic medical and surgical procedures.<br \/>\nRefer patients to specialists or other healthcare practitioners as required.<br \/>\nObtains and documents, chief complaint, past medical, family and social history, review of systems, examination, medications and allergies, assessment and plan for each patient.<br \/>\nProvides patient education as needed.<br \/>\nAvailable to patients personally to answer questions and relay information regarding their care.<br \/>\nCompletion of appropriate paperwork to comply with insurance and reimbursement guidelines.<br \/>\nEnsure the efficient and economic use of medical equipment and supplies.<br \/>\nCompletion of all documentation and paperwork in a timely manner.<br \/>\nAttends all staff, clinical, or other special meetings as requested<br \/>\nMaintains patient confidentiality at all times.<br \/>\nUndertake any other related duties as assigned from time to time.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nQualifications and experience:<br \/>\nDiploma in clinical medicine from a recognized institution.<br \/>\nRegistered by the Health Professional Council of Zambia.<br \/>\nMinimum 2-3 years\u2019 experience.<br \/>\nProficiency in computer applications.<br \/>\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.<br \/>\nQualifications must be verified and validated by ZAQA<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities<br \/>\n1.\u00a0The ability to lead and operate as part of a diverse team<br \/>\n2.\u00a0Sound knowledge on general administration.<br \/>\n3.\u00a0Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines<br \/>\n4.\u00a0Person who is sensitive to employees\u2019 feelings and able to keep matters confidential.<br \/>\n5.\u00a0Ability to exhibit patience and tolerance.<br \/>\n6.\u00a0Be the conduit between the treating doctor and\/or specialists and the company and patient.<br \/>\n7.\u00a0Professional qualification in clinic set up<br \/>\n8.\u00a0Computer literacy is \u00a0a must.<br \/>\n9.\u00a0Maintains appropriate license\u00a0and certification including meeting and\/or exceeding the law requirements.<br \/>\n10.\u00a0Observes standards of medical care<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nDATA ENTRY \u2013 INTERN<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nJob Type:\u00a0Intern<br \/>\nAllowance: Competitive<br \/>\nLocation: Chimwemwe, Kitwe<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nJOB PURPOSE<br \/>\nTo support Administrative and Medical Staff by entering,verifying and organising health related data while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with KFCMC policies.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nMain Activities<br \/>\nEnter accurate patient personal information, medical coverage\/insurance details and relevant contact details onto the clinic\u2019s medical records database.<br \/>\nCreate new patient folders with file numbers for first time service users. Verify that the patient\u2019s name, address, contact information, NHIMA number and date of birth on the medical file match information given by the patient when accessing KFCMC services.<br \/>\nWork closely with the front desk Officers to gather patient personal details and verify the accuracy of information<br \/>\nAccurately retrieve patients records from the Database upon the Doctor or Clinician\u2019s request<br \/>\nSupport the Administration Manager with annual culling of medical records or retrieval of inactive files.<br \/>\nDeal with inquiries from staff, patients, visitors and other health professionals in a prompt and courteous manner.<br \/>\nConfirm with medical personnel that the patient\u2019s medical records are complete and correct.<br \/>\nFile patient records, which may include lab results and x-rays, referrals, as part of the medical record.<br \/>\nWork with both paper documents and electronic files, and do routine tasks like data entry, organization, cross-referencing, scanning, copying and retrieval.<br \/>\nReport promptly any incident or adverse event relating to staff, patients\u2019 or visitors to the clinic\/hospital manager.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nQualifications and experience:<br \/>\n1. Full Grade 12 certificate with 5 credits or better<br \/>\n2.
