\n2. Agricultural Science (Agronomy)- 1 POSITION
\n3. Agricultural Economics \u2013 1 POSITION
\n4. Biometry (Statistics) \u2013 1 POSITION
\n5. Fisheries and Aquaculture \u2013 1 POSITION
\nDUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:<\/p>\n
To conduct lectures in the specialized course\/programs referred to above and any other related course(s)\/ programs.
\nTo develop learning materials including course outlines, lecture materials and teaching aids.
\nTo participate in curriculum development in the Department
\nTo supervise practical activities, fieldwork and provide technical know-how to impart skills in the students
\nTo contribute to the general operation of the Department as a member of the academic tea
\nTo assist students with research work for them to comprehend fully the subject matter.
\nTo mark students\u2019 practical and written exercises, tests, assignments, and examinations.
\nTo write good research proposals, carry out research, and publish in high impact journals, present papers at conferences, workshops and engage in consultancy.
\nTo participate fully in the university activities aimed at generating income
\nTo perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES<\/p>\n
Must have a Full Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate or its equivalen
\nMust have a minimum of a Master\u2019s Degree in the respective fiel
\nA PhD in the respective field or related field will be an added advantage
\nA teaching methodology will be an added advantage
\nMust be computer literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-learning tools.
\nMust be knowledgeable in research and data analysis tools and softwar
\nMust be a member of a professional regulatory body e.g Agriculture Institute of Zambi
\nLecturing experience in a reputable institution of higher learning is an added advantage.
\nMust have good interpersonal skills and must be a team player
\nMust be of high integrity, honesty, ethical, professional conduct and sober character are mandatory requirements.<\/p>\n
