Controller is responsible for leading and coordinating a dynamic control room team to ensure the highest levels of operational efficiency and client satisfaction in alignment with company policy. This role is pivotal in fostering team unity and motivation, with a focus on business retention, new business development, and maintaining excellent client relationships through regular liaison
\nRESPONSIBILITIES
\nMonitor Security Systems: Continuously monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems to detect and respond to security breaches or unusual activities.
\nMonitoring Patrols:\u00a0Ensuring that \u00a0supervisors submit the daily patrol documents \u00a0to control room. Monitor onsite Patrols.
\nCoverage: Conduct a daily \u00a0coverage of all officers on site, drivers and area supervisors and share the information with the clerks
\nIncident Response: Respond promptly to alarms and security alerts, assess situations, and take appropriate actions, such as contacting law enforcement or dispatching on-site security personnel.
\nEmergency Coordination: Coordinate emergency responses, including fire, medical, and security incidents, by communicating with first responders, employees, and management as required.
\nRecord Keeping: Maintain accurate records of security events, incidents, and actions taken during shifts, ensuring
\nEnsure daily reports are sent out on the following:<\/p>\n
Daily Alarm Activations
\nDaily Mechanical Status
\nDaily FTT\u2019s
\nDaily CNE status
\nNCC Controller Response Times
\nVehicle Response Daily Statistics
\nDaily General Incidents (Centralised OB and Alarms)
\nMRT Fleet Movement Reports
\nDaily update on any MRT illegal (unauthorised) movements
\nlabour numbers
\ncoverage times
\npatrol and supervisor exceptions
\ncompliance with established protocols.<\/p>\n
Communication: Maintain clear and concise communication with security personnel, management, and external agencies , providing updates on security incidents and ongoing activities.
\nEducational Background:
\nHigher Diploma in IT or equivalent.
\nProfessional Experience:
\nMinimum five (3) years of operational experience\u00a0 as a Controller,\u00a0 in a security organization.
