Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.<br \/>\nResponsibilities<br \/>\nMaintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial classification<br \/>\nPrepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments<br \/>\nMonitor cash flow and treasury functions<br \/>\nPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports<br \/>\nEnsure timely submission of tax returns (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax) and maintain compliance with ZRA<br \/>\nSupport budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis<br \/>\nAssist with audit processes and maintain strong internal controls<br \/>\nManage and maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation tracking<br \/>\nProvide ad hoc financial reports and support strategic financial planning<br \/>\nQualifications<br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline<br \/>\nFully qualified Chartered Accountant (ZICA, ACCA, or CIMA)<br \/>\nMember in good standing with the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)<br \/>\nExperience and skills<br \/>\n4\u20135 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance<br \/>\nProficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.)<br \/>\nAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling<br \/>\nPrior experience in energy, utilities, or infrastructure is an added advantage<br \/>\nStrong knowledge of IFRS, Zambian tax laws, and internal control frameworks<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
