Canoe Investment Limited is recruiting a suitably qualified individual with a minimum of 2 work experience with any engineering background to support the growth of the Canoe Solar Zambia.
\nThe successful individual will support the day-to-day operations.
\nKey Duties
\n1 Project Coordination
\nAssist in scheduling and coordinating solar installation projects.
\nTrack project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
\nCommunicate with technicians, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth field operations.
\n2 Administrative Support
\nMaintain project documentation (e.g., permits, contracts, inspection reports).
\nPrepare reports, presentations, and data summaries for internal use.
\nHandle filing, data entry, and updating internal management systems.
\n3\u00a0 Inventory and Equipment Management
\nMonitor inventory levels of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other materials.
\nCoordinate procurement and delivery of equipment.
\nAssist with asset tracking and maintenance scheduling.
\n4\u00a0 Customer and Vendor Communication
\nRespond to client inquiries or forward them to relevant departments.
\nCommunicate with vendors and suppliers regarding orders, timelines, and payments.
\nSchedule site visits or inspections with clients and local authorities.
\n5 \u00a0Compliance and Documentation
\nEnsure documentation complies with local, state, and federal solar energy regulations.
\nAssist with permit applications and interconnection paperwork.
\nTrack safety protocols and ensure field teams follow compliance guidelines.
\n6\u00a0 Support to Operations Manager
\nProvide general support to the Operations Manager or Director.
\nHelp with implementing new systems or processes to improve efficiency.
\nAssist in compiling performance metrics and reports.
\n7\u00a0 Quality Assurance
\nHelp conduct post-installation quality checks.
\nFollow up on customer satisfaction surveys or service requests.
\nSupport troubleshooting of operational issues.
\nSkills and Qualifications Needed
\nBachelor\u2019s Degree in any Engineering field
\nStrong organizational and communication skills.
\nProficiency in MS Office and project management software.
\nUnderstanding of solar energy systems (preferred but not always required).
\nAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
\nTeam-player attitude with initiative.<\/p>\n
