\nPosition:\u00a0Homeschool Caregiver
\nLocation:\u00a0Ibex, Lusaka, Zambia

\nPOSITION SUMMARY
\nWe\u2019re seeking a dedicated and experienced Homeschool Caregiver to provide educational support and care to children aged 3\u201318 in a home-based setting. The successful candidate will work closely with the family to develop and implement personalized learning plans, ensuring each child\u2019s academic and emotional needs are met.
\nIdeally, the caregiver should be available throughout the day. However, flexibility during school days, availability from 14:00 to 18:00 may be considered. During school holidays, full-day availability from 07:00 to 17:00 is required. The candidate must have an easy commute to Kabulonga and Ibex, Lusaka Zambia
\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Develop and implement customized lesson plans for children aged 3-18
\nTrack progress, adjust lesson plans, and provide regular feedback to parents
\nProvide educational support in core subjects, including reading, mathematics and science.
\nSupervise and guide children during learning, social and community activities
\nMaintain records of child\u2019s progress and submit reports to parents
\nManage communication with teachers and provide updates to parents
\nStay updated on current educational trends and best practices
\nDemonstrate emotional intelligence and ability to handle children\u2019s needs
\nManagement and providing of oversite to domestic staff responsible for cleaning premises
\nEnsure health meals and snacks are prepared for children and teens
\nProviding budgets and plans to directors for meals, snacks, and school supplies needed
\nAccompany and supervise children and teenagers to social, academic or community events<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATION<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree and\/or Diploma holders in Early Childhood Education, Teaching, Science, Math, Development or related field Teaching qualifications or experience in education support roles
\nTeaching qualification or experience in education support roles
\nExperience working with children aged 3-18
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment
\nMultitasking abilities and sound judgment skills
\nEmotional intelligence and ability to handle children\u2019s emotional needs
\nAbility to prepare simple meals for children
\nDriver\u2019s license (is an added advantage but not a requirement)<\/p>\n
