{"id":4522,"date":"2025-07-26T10:02:21","date_gmt":"2025-07-26T10:02:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/construction-engineer-at-africa-panorama-investment-group-limited\/"},"modified":"2025-10-07T00:14:09","modified_gmt":"2025-10-07T00:14:09","slug":"construction-engineer-at-africa-panorama-investment-group-limited","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=4522","title":{"rendered":"Construction Engineer at Africa Panorama Investment Group Limited"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>African Panorama Investment Group Limited\u00a0is a comprehensive group corporation with construction installation, real estate development, and overseas investment as its primary businesses and property management, garden greening, and project ornamentation as its supporting businesses.<br \/>\nWe are seeking the services of\u00a0Construction Engineer.<br \/>\nQUALITIES REQUIRED<br \/>\ni.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A degree in civil engineering or a related field .<br \/>\nii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Previous experience as a site engineer or construction project engineer is preferred.<br \/>\niii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Familiarity with house construction techniques and building codes is advantageous.<br \/>\niv.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Field supervision experience<br \/>\nv.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Conversant with Auto Cad<br \/>\nvi.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Archtecture field experience would be added advantage<br \/>\nvii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Minimum of 1 year experience.<br \/>\nTechnical Skills:<br \/>\nviii.\u00a0 Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.<br \/>\nix.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and equipment.<br \/>\nx.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to use construction software and tools for project management and scheduling.<br \/>\nxi.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Understanding of structural design principles and calculations.<br \/>\nSite Management:<br \/>\nStrong organizational and time management skills to effectively oversee multiple tasks and meet deadlines.<br \/>\nAbility to manage site safety and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.<br \/>\nKnowledge of quality control processes and procedures.<br \/>\nCommunication and Teamwork:<br \/>\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other team members.<br \/>\nAbility to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts.<br \/>\nCollaboration skills to work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project.<br \/>\nProblem-Solving and Decision-Making:<br \/>\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve construction-related issues.<br \/>\nAbility to make informed decisions, considering project constraints and objectives.<br \/>\nAdaptability to handle unexpected challenges and changes in project requirements.<br \/>\nProfessionalism and Ethics:<br \/>\nStrong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality work.<br \/>\nIntegrity and ethical conduct in dealing with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.<br \/>\nWillingness to stay updated with industry trends, advancements and best practices.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
