\nJob Purpose
\nTo provide exceptional service to guests, delivering food and beverages in a timely and professional manner while creating a warm and memorable experience. The Waiter plays a key role in upholding Lolebezi\u2019s standards of excellence and personalized service.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Greet and escort Guests to their tables
\nPresent menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
\nPrepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
\nInform Guests about the day\u2019s specials
\nOffer menu recommendations upon request
\nUp-sell additional products when appropriateTake accurate food and drinks orders.
\nServe food and drink orders
\nCheck dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
\nArrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
\nCarry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
\nMeet with Kitchen staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations.
\nFollow all relevant health department regulations
\nProvide excellent customer service to guests<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Certification in Hospitality Management.
\nFull \u00a0Grade 12 certificate.
\nAt least 2-3 years proven experience
\nKnowledge of food hygiene and safety practices is essential<\/p>\n
