IT OFFICER
\nJob Title: IT Officer
\nReporting To: Head of Finance
\nJob Summary
\nAn IT Officer to oversee and manage the company\u2019s technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT systems, ensuring network security, supporting employees with technical issues, and optimizing digital operations to enhance efficiency.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Provide expert face-to-face and remote IT support to staff for all hardware, software, and networking issues.
\nManage and troubleshoot high-level network configurations, including VLANs and Cisco hardware.
\nAdminister and support email server operations.
\nPrepare and configure new hire workstations, including hardware setup,
\nsoftware installation, network drive mapping, and email configuration.
\nMaintain accurate inventory records of all IT assets and supplies.
\nInstall, configure, and troubleshoot computer peripherals such as scanners,
\nprinters, switches, wireless routers, and biometric devices.
\nProvide support for conference room and Audio-Visual (AV) equipment (e.g., TVs, conference phones, video conference systems).
\nPerform routine printer maintenance, including troubleshooting, toner replacement, and ordering consumables.
\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues with PC components (monitors, hard drives, memory, etc.), wireless access points, and desktop switches\/routers.
\nTroubleshoot basic to intermediate LAN and WAN connectivity problems.
\nOversee and execute cabling and wiring for LAN connectivity breakout points.
\nLead the IT setup for new branches from scratch, encompassing hardware procurement (PCs, printers, scanners), network and cabling infrastructure, internet connectivity, and power backup solutions.
\nConfigure branch-specific loan software and user profiles.
\nProvide troubleshooting expertise for Microsoft Windows (7\u201310), Microsoft Office Suite (2013\u20132016), security software, and VPN connections.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Skills:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
\nMinimum of 4 years of progressive experience in IT support, networking, software, or system administration.
\nProven proficiency in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
\nDemonstrable experience with network configuration (including VLANs) and Cisco hardware.
\nStrong troubleshooting skills for a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues.
\nExcellent problem-solving abilities and strong verbal and written communication skills.
\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.
\nA valid Driver\u2019s License.
\nPreferably someone less than 35years old.<\/p>\n
