J&J Transport Zambia Limited is recruiting suitably qualified individuals with a minimum of 5 years\u2019 work experience to support the growth of the J&J Transport Zambia Fleet operations.
\nThe successful individuals will support the day-to-day operational requirements and driver management at Katima Mulilo Border.
\nDuties & Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Import & Export coordination \u2013 clearly communicate and coordinate the import and export of loads for JJL fleet.
\nTruck turnaround \u2013 aggressively and proactively push for, and ensure quick turnaround times for the JJL fleet
\nDriver communication \u2013 Clearly communicate to drivers and coordinate special requirements for specific loads and diversions to drivers, as and when informed.
\nReporting \u2013 Real time accurate system updates with accurate driver and fleet information.
\nClient Updates
\nEnsuring that all vehicles loaded ex-Zambia are released in good time
\nDriver Management \u2013 effectively oversee all drivers \/ driver related issues that encompass driver briefing\/debriefing and disciplinary matters.
\nAssist sister fleet operations as and when required<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
Academic Background: Diploma\/Degree in Transport\/Logistics
\nMinimum 5 years\u2019 experience in an international transport\/ logistics company and cross border operations.
\nCustoms clearance experience.
\n\u00a0Age \u2013 not less the 28 years of age.
\nHigh energy with aggressive focus on achieving goals and targets.
\nProactive, and can take the initiative.
\nMust have the ability to carry, and meet multiple objectives and deadlines
\nTime availability: willingness to work weekends rotational public holidays as workload requires.
\nIT knowledge: exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office products (word; excel; power point) and logistics applications.
\nMember of the Zambia Chartered Institute of Transport & Logistics.<\/p>\n
