Job objective(s)
\nTo be responsible for maintenance and management of the overall Credit Portfolio monitoring reports and regulatory reporting, while observing data integrity, timeliness of reporting and provision of insight to the Credit team.
\nReporting Relationships:
\nFunctionally reports to the Chief Credit Officer
\nJob Duties:<\/p>\n
Preparation, consolidation and reporting of internal credit portfolio reports to internal and Group stakeholders.
\nPreparation and submission of regulatory returns to Bank of Zambia.
\nMaintenance and General overview of Credit Portfolio dashboards.
\nConduct sector analysis and provide insights to Chief Credit Officer.
\nMaintenance and generation of IFRS 9 related provisions and reports to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
\nPreparation of weekly and monthly activity reports to the Chief Credit Officer.
\nReview portfolio for concentration risks, global limits etc., and advise appropriate actions.
\nConduct Monthly Revenue Assurance on disbursed loans on the loan portfolio.
\nConduct the periodic collation, review, consolidation, invoicing and reconciliation of relevant Credit related loans.
\nAll other activities as delegated by the department Head.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Indicators:<\/p>\n
Timely submission of credit monitoring and BoZ reports.
\nMinimal error rate in credit reports.
\nPeriodic and frequent reconciliation of Credit Portfolio information with the Banks core banking systems.
\nHigh quality in reports to stakeholders to inform Credit decision making.
\nPerformance Metrics under Execution Mastery; Timeliness in completion of assigned tasks.
\nEffectiveness at execution of assigned tasks; Efficiency at executing scheduled and adhoc assignments.<\/p>\n
Application requirements:
\nMinimum Education Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field with Credit or better
\nGrade Twelve Certificate with at least Five (05) Credits or better, including Mathematics and English.
\nZAQA verified certificates<\/p>\n
Previous Work Experience Requirements<\/p>\n
At least 3 \u2013 5years experience in credit reporting and analytics
\nKnowledge of credit risk management principles and Bank of Zambia regulatory requirements.
\nStrong analytical and reporting skills, loan monitoring, and portfolio management skills.
\nExcellent command of MS Excel.
\nDeep knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements, and risk parameters.
\nDeep knowledge and understanding of IFRS 9 provisions and classifications guidelines<\/p>\n
