\nHEAD INFRASTRUCTURE DELIVERY
\nPurpose of the Job
\nReporting to the Director of Infrastructure \u2013 the job holder will work as a part of the PIU to collaborate with subordinates in the Infrastructure Team and colleagues across the wider organization in order to ensure quality deliverables. The role leads and develops tactical plans and initiatives to manage Infrastructure Delivery Projects that meet Mulonga\u2019s Strategic Business Plan specific to infrastructure development and delivery objectives.
\nMain Accountabilities<\/p>\n
Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of engineering projects, including design, construction, and maintenance.
\nReview and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure that they are in line with overall project design.
\nManages the preparation and\/or carrying out reviews of technical specifications for tender documents for the supply of goods, works and services for approval.
\nPlan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of engineering projects, including design, construction, and maintenance.
\nDevelop project scope, budget, and schedule in collaboration with project stakeholders.
\nIn collaboration with Director of Infrastructure shape the corporate and group-level plans with a reference to design delivery.
\nEnsures projects adheres to TQC principles.
\nCarries out scrutiny of payment certificates from Contractors, Suppliers and consultants in readiness for payments.
\nManages communications & status reporting across the full portfolio of programs and projects and apply the appropriate reporting techniques depending on the type of work
\nTo facilitate and manage the engineering team ensuring technical and contractual issues are considered and implemented as appropriate.
\nIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
\nTo work collaboratively with colleagues and build effective working relationships to produce joint recommendations with colleagues on design and delivery approaches, policies, strategic issues on design and new initiatives.<\/p>\n
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate with Five (5) O Levels
\nBachelor\u2019s Degree in Civil Engineering.
\nRegistered Engineer with the Engineering Registration Board (ERB)
\nMember of EIZ
\nValid Driver\u2019s License with minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience (Ability to Drive Manual Vehicle)<\/p>\n
