\nAbout Us
\nBauleni Special Needs Project (BSNP) is a Catholic run institution located in Lusaka and has been in existence for 32 years. It is managed by an international congregation of Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary (SSHJM) under the auspice of the Archdiocese of Lusaka. Since its inception, the Project has remained dedicated to providing Inclusive Education for Children with Special Needs, ranging from minor to severe disabilities, including deaf blindness. The Project also has continued to embrace the orphans under the mainstream school and other vulnerable young people. In this regard the Project has continued to provide skills training to vulnerable young people, empowering them to become independent adults and positioning them to productively contribute to the general development of society.
\nRole Overview
\nThe Programme Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive monitoring and evaluation frameworks that support the overall effectiveness of SSHJM-BSNP programs. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and facilitate learning initiatives. The MEAL Officer will work closely with Project management team, stakeholders, and communities to ensure that evidence-based decision-making drives Project outcomes and enhances accountability.
\nQUALIFICATIONS OF JOB HOLDER:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 School Certificate
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Demography, Development Studies, Project Management, or a related field.
\nAt least two years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.
\nExperience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports.
\nProven ICT skills, especially in the development of MIS software using database software.
\nExpertise in analysing data using statistical software.<\/p>\n

Good knowledge of programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation techniques and practices.
\nGood moderation, coordination, communication, teamwork facilitation and training skills.
\nAbility to work with and manage partners.
