OPERATIONS MANAGER
\nKEY REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Transport and Logistics, Business Administration, a Master\u2019s degree will be an added advantage.
\nMust be 30 years old or above
\nProven experience as a Transport and Logistics Operations Manager or in a similar managerial role within the Transport and logistics company.
\nMust have managerial experience with strong leadership skills
\nExcellent communicator
\nExperience in driver management and fuel management
\nStrong knowledge\u00a0 of both local and cross border routes, including Zambian\/ SADC transportation routes Congo DR, South Africa, Tanzania and Mozambique
\nExcellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
\nStrong marketing acumen with cutting skills to analyze the transport business opportunities on the market.
\nExceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize operations and address challenges effectively
\nStrong communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with internal teams, Clients and stakeholders in the transport and logistic industry.
\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs
\nKnowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance related to Transport and logistics.
\nDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in operations
\nA proactive approach with a demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.<\/p>\n
DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS<\/p>\n
Daily update to the Director with regard to operations.
\nIncident \/ situations report and decision taken to address and resolve all.
\nSupervision of the operations team to ensure effective performance of every staff.
\nResponsible for coordinating the operations with workshop and Mechanical stores.<\/p>\n
