Job Opportunity: Graduate Architect<\/p>\n
A newly established firm is seeking a creative, motivated, and detail oriented Graduate Architect to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a young professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering thoughtful, functional, and visually striking design solutions.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Assist in the design and development of architectural plans across a range of projects<\/p>\n
Translate client needs into design concepts and compelling visual presentations<\/p>\n
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure design objectives are achieved<\/p>\n
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and provide technical support<\/p>\n
Prepare detailed architectural drawings, blueprints, specifications, and documentation<\/p>\n
Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, planning regulations, and safety standards<\/p>\n
Contribute to project management activities, including tracking timelines and budgets<\/p>\n
Research sustainable materials, construction technologies, and emerging design trends<\/p>\n
Lead and coordinate small project teams when necessary<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Skills:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Architecture<\/p>\n
Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience with verifiable references<\/p>\n
Proficiency in architectural design software mainly ArchiCAD; experience with AutoCAD and Twinmotion is a strong advantage<\/p>\n
Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills<\/p>\n
Excellent communication and organizational abilities<\/p>\n
Familiarity with Zambian building codes and construction standards is essential<\/p>\n
