A newly established firm is seeking a creative, motivated, and detail oriented Graduate Architect to join our growing team. \nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Assist in the design and development of architectural plans across a range of projects
\nTranslate client needs into design concepts and compelling visual presentations
\nCollaborate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure design objectives are achieved
\nConduct site visits to monitor construction progress and provide technical support
\nPrepare detailed architectural drawings, blueprints, specifications, and documentation
\nEnsure all designs comply with local building codes, planning regulations, and safety standards
\nContribute to project management activities, including tracking timelines and budgets
\nResearch sustainable materials, construction technologies, and emerging design trends
\nLead and coordinate small project teams when necessary<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Skills:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Architecture
\nMinimum of 2 years post-graduate experience with verifiable references
\nProficiency in architectural design software mainly ArchiCAD; experience with AutoCAD and Twinmotion is a strong advantage
\nStrong design sensibility, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills
\nExcellent communication and organizational abilities
\nFamiliarity with Zambian building codes and construction standards is essential
