This role will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of HR strategies, employee relations, and policy compliance across our operational sites.<br \/>\nRESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\nHR Policies and Procedures<\/p>\n<p>Generate and interpret all HR policies and procedures and ensure that line management and employees understand the need and contents of these policies and procedures.<br \/>\nMonitor compliance by ensuring that deviations are identified and reported.<\/p>\n<p>Recruitment<\/p>\n<p>Manage the full recruitment cycle, including requisition, advertisement, candidate screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.<br \/>\nMaintain an up-to-date vacancy list and ensure alignment with recruitment planning and approvals.<\/p>\n<p>Discipline Management<\/p>\n<p>Ensure disciplinary matters are managed proactively and in accordance with the company\u2019s policies and procedures.<br \/>\nAttend disciplinary hearings to provide expert advice and guidance.<br \/>\nManage all grievance cases promptly, ensuring adherence to the established internal procedures and timelines.<br \/>\nPrepare comprehensive documentation for conciliation and arbitration processes.<br \/>\nExecute all related tasks in compliance with the Disciplinary and Grievance policies, procedures, and any country-specific requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Union Meetings and Engagements<\/p>\n<p>Ensure consistent and effective communication with unions and associations on all matters relevant to them, fostering positive labor relations.<br \/>\nOrganise and facilitate union meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, securing venues and IT resources, and accurately documenting minutes.<br \/>\nEnsure that necessary information is obtained and communicated timeously.<br \/>\nMaintain a thorough understanding of current and past collective agreements and applicable labor legislation to ensure compliance and informed negotiations.<\/p>\n<p>Manpower Planning and Organisational Structure<\/p>\n<p>Lead manpower planning initiatives to ensure alignment between workforce needs and business goals.<br \/>\nMaintain and update company organograms to reflect current structures and support workforce planning.<br \/>\nDevelop and manage localisation labour plans and succession plans for supervisory roles to support workforce stability and growth.<\/p>\n<p>Administration<\/p>\n<p>Collate and manage payroll inputs accurately while liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and correct payroll processing.<br \/>\nMaintain, distribute, and securely file all employee records and information in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.<br \/>\nArrange and administer employee work permits, ensuring compliance with immigration and labor laws.<br \/>\nAssist in the formulation and monitoring of Performance Agreements and Individual Development Plans, as well as tracking thereof.<\/p>\n<p>Training and Development<\/p>\n<p>Assess training needs, maintain records, coordinate employee development programs, and conduct annual skills audits.<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n<p>Grade 12 Certificate<br \/>\nHonors Degree in Human Resources Management<\/p>\n<p>EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n<p>Minimum of 5-10 years\u2019 experience performing operational Human Resources duties<br \/>\nExperience in the Mining or Construction work environment will be advantageous.<\/p>\n<p>SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED<\/p>\n<p>Medically fit as per company standards.<br \/>\nConflict and people management.<br \/>\nStrong knowledge of Industrial Relations.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
