\nMain Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Supervision of all Technicians in Diagnosing, maintaining and repairing vehicle systems which include engine, transmission, clutch, suspension, brakes and pneumatics system
\nRoutine inspections of maintenance work in the Workshop
\nAttending to\/manage breakdowns outside workstation timeously
\nSupport in development of routine workplans in the workshop.
\nBreakdown, Light Motor Vehicle, Component replacement and General Maintenance
\nSupervision of delegated tasks to all Technicians
\nPlanning vehicle service schedules for all vehicles and equipment
\nEnsure that personnel under supervision adhere to health and safety policies.
\nEnsure that vehicles are road worthy in terms of fitness
\nPerform any other duties assigned by superiors<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Must have a Diploma qualification in Automotive Mechanics \/Auto Electrical from a recognized institution
\nFull Grade 12 Certificate and a member of EIZ
\n5 years minimum experience in a busy workshop. Experience in the transport industry an added advantage
\nAt least two years in a supervisory role with a valid driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n
2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Auto Electrician (3 Positions \u2013 Kitwe and Lusaka)
\nMain Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Perform diagnostic electrical tests\u00a0 from horse to trailer when needed and handle all electrical duties on trucks including Light Motor Vehicles
\nAttending to all electrical breakdowns outside workstation timeously
\nOverhaul of all electrical components.
\nServicing and repairing of all electrical units such as starter motors, wiper motors, battery maintenance and services.
\nEnsure that vehicles are road worthy in terms of fitness
\nPerform any other duties assigned by superiors<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Must have a Certificate in Automotive Electrical from a recognized institution
\nFull Grade 12 Certificate and a member of EIZ
\nAt least 3 years\u2019 experience in a busy workshop
\nExperience in a trucking Company, an added advantage<\/p>\n
3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Auto Mechanic \u00a0(6 Positions Kitwe and Lusaka)
\nMain Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Diagnosing, maintaining and repairing vehicle systems which include engine, transmission, clutch, suspension, brakes and pneumatics system
\nConduct routine service\/maintenance works on vehicles as required
\nAttend breakdowns outside workstation timeously
\nContribute to planning of works in the workshop
\nEnsure that vehicles are road worthy in terms of fitness

Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Must have a Certificate in Automotive Mechanics\/Electrical from a recognized institution

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Stores Clerk Kitwe (2 Positions Kitwe and Lusaka)
\nMain Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Receiving spare parts and goods purchased
\nRaising Goods Received Notes (GRNs) for all goods received
\nIssuing goods from stocks upon receipt of stores requisition
\nUpdating stock management system with the goods received and goods issued
\nMonitoring the re-order levels of all stocks and non- stock items
\nRaising the purchase requisition for required stock
\nRecording old spare parts which are used as exchange units
\nDispatching the exchanged units to main workshops
\nPerform any other duties assigned by superiors<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Full Grade 12 with a Certificate in Stores Management or Purchasing & Supply. Diploma will be an added advantage
\nExperience in a busy Stores department in a transport logistics Company an added advantage
\nAt least two years\u2019 work experience<\/p>\n
5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sendem (Tracking)Technicians (2 Positions \u2013 Kitwe)
\nMain Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Utilize both fleet management on board computer and global track to obtain positions and Tacho data for management use.
\nMonitor panic reports to ensure safety of the load, the asset(vehicle) and the driver and manage decommissions of fleet management gadgets
\nAssisting with the maintenance of all monitoring devices i.e. Mix Vision, Fleet Management, and Global track.
\nProviding Mix Vision Event Recording and analysis reports to relevant departments for coaching.
\nMonitor fuel probes and preparation of fuel management reports through tank level sensor, manual computations
\nPreparation of Fleet Management month end reports for Sendem and Sabot Zambia including providing graphical and relevant paperwork for all fleet management systems supplied by the company. And provide exception reports for monitoring driver\u2019s behaviour
\nMonitoring of fleet convoys
\nPerform any other duties assigned by superiors<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Diploma in Information Technology
\nFull Grade 12 Certificate
\nAt least 3 years\u2019 experience in a busy fleet tracking operation
\nWide and general knowledge of modern vehicular electrical\/ electronic systems
\nRequired to possess the experience of repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems to which the applicable installations apply (Sendem \u2013 Mix and GT)
\nBasic knowledge of Installing and troubleshooting immobilizer systems<\/p>\n
6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Gate Checker (1 Position \u2013 Kitwe)
\nMain Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Conduct Inspections to check the validity of all licenses and permits, fire extinguishers
\nCheck truck and trailer damages, missing equipment, cracked windscreens, lights before dispatch of the vehicle and arrival thereafter using trip sheets
\nPrepare daily equipment tracking on trucks upon arrival and departure from the depot (Chains, Binders, uprights, tarpaulins, belts and corner plates)
\nEnsures that vehicle tanks are sealed before the truck is dispatched and that seal numbers are correctly recorded on the trip sheets and upon return back into the depot
\nManage all licenses, permits, insurance and ensure that they are valid and stuck on vehicles before departure
\nPerform any other duties assigned by superiors<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Should at least possess a minimum qualification of Certificate in CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics in Transport)
\nFull grade 12 school certificates
\nMust have experience of not less than 2 years in the transport business<\/p>\n
7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tarper (1 Position \u2013 Kitwe)
\nMain Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Conduct inspections and ensuring availability of Tarpaulins on Company Fleet
\nReport all damages on tarpaulins
\nCarry out tarpaulin repairs
\nCarry out washing\/cleaning tarpaulins on all trucks in the yard
\nMoving\/shifting of spare wheels and adjust\/move cargo where necessary
\nSafeguarding and securing of company fleet tarpaulins and any necessary tools
\nPerform any other duties assigned by superiors<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Grade 9 Certificate
\nExperience in working with trucks and\/or in a similar operation an added advantage<\/p>\n
