\nWe are inviting applications to fill the following vacant position:
\nReporting to the\u00a0Accounting Officer, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:<\/p>\n
Providing financial and administrative assistance to the Finance and Administration Function.
\nReceipting and processing payments from customers; cash and bank transfers in SAP
\nPrinting account statements and issue receipt to customers
\nEnsuring prompt payment of accounts
\nLiaising with Sales and Distribution on non-paying customers
\nFiling systematically all Accounts Receivables and Proof of deliveries (PODs) of National Accounts
\nMatching\/allocating all payments to their respective outlet numbers.
\nProcessing and applying payments on sundry sales
\nPerforming any other duties as they arise.<\/p>\n
This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:<\/p>\n
A minimum academic qualification of Diploma in Accountancy and studying towards a professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA etc.
\nAt least 2 years\u2019 experience in an accounting environment.
\nExcellent computer skills
\nKnowledge of SAP or any other ERP and added advantage
\nComputer literacy-MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint
\nAbility to meet\/beat deadlines and targets.
\nSelf-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.<\/p>\n
