INTRODUCTION:
\nOur client in the retail sector is looking for dynamic and customer-focused Sales Assistants to join their team in Lusaka and Livingstone. The ideal candidates should be enthusiastic, sales-driven, and capable of delivering exceptional customer service while supporting daily store operations.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
\nDrive sales by recommending and upselling products
\nMaintain store cleanliness and merchandise displays
\nOperate the POS system and handle transactions efficientl
\nAccept payments via cash, credit card, and multi-currency
\nMonitor stock levels and participate in stock counts
\nEnforce store security practices to minimize losses
\nParticipate in in-store promotions and campaigns
\nWork flexible hours including night shifts, weekends, and holidays<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience:
\nMinimum: Grade 12 Certificate (Intermediate and above)
\nRequired Experience:<\/p>\n
At least 2 years in customer service and retail sales
\nExperience in merchandising and inventory control
\nHands-on knowledge of POS systems and payment processing<\/p>\n
Skills Required:<\/p>\n
Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
\nConfident sales approach and problem-solving ability
\nAbility to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
\nHigh level of accuracy, integrity, and responsibility<\/p>\n
