\nTo actualize our mission, we are looking for ambitious and suitably qualified candidates to fill the above position (Internal Audit Officer) that have arisen:
\nJob Summary
\nThe Internal Audit Officer will be responsible for evaluating the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of the organization\u2019s internal control systems and procedures. The officer will ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Conduct regular and ad-hoc audits across all departments and branches.
\nEvaluate the effectiveness of risk management and internal control systems.
\nIdentify and report on areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
\nPrepare clear and concise audit reports with findings and recommendations.
\nFollow up on implementation of audit recommendations.
\nAssess the accuracy and reliability of financial and operational information.
\nProvide support during external audits and regulatory inspections.
\nPromote a culture of accountability and transparency.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related field.
\nPart or full professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ZICA.
\nAt least 2\u20133 years of experience in internal or external auditing, preferably in the financial services or microfinance sector.
\nStrong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, and internal controls.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
\nExcellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
\nHigh level of integrity and confidentiality.<\/p>\n
