\nThe University is currently seeking to recruit a suitably qualified individual for the position of\u00a0Academic Manager:
\nJob purpose;
\nTo Manage all the academic activities in coordination with the DVC, Deans, Heads of Departments, Program Coordinators, Faculty and Academic Coordinators.
\nResponsibilities;<\/p>\n
Coordinate and monitor academic activities with the support of Deans, Heads of Departments, Program Coordinators, Faculty, and academic coordinators.
\nProvide support in developing the curriculum frame work and structure of coursework handbook.
\nManage the development and approval of the academic calendar and time tables
\nEnsuring course and student enrolment in LMS every week.
\nEnsure that all the question papers are available prior to examinations, at least 10 days prior to the examinations.
\nEnsure academic council meetings, and board of studies meetings are conducted as per the schedules
\nEnsure that academic committees\/sub-committees are formed and active.
\nCoordinating and monitoring the teaching and learning activities
\nTo ensure the orientation of students on Policies and Processes for all programmes as per scheduled Calendar.
\nTo ensure\/monitor the delivery of all classes (on- campus, online, webinar, etc\u2026)
\nEnsure all academic material are uploaded in LMS for student\u2019s access in Advance.
\nEnsure that all students submit the academic requirements as stipulated in the curriculum and as per academic calendar\/schedule.
\nTo monitor the conduct of post-graduation evaluation meetings (vivas)
\nParticipate in all student\u2019s forum meetings<\/p>\n
Educational Qualification;<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Educational Administration, Business Management and administration or equivalent.
\nMaster\u2019s Degree will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
Experience;<\/p>\n
Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in a similar role.<\/p>\n
