\nWe are inviting applications to fill the following vacant position:
\nReporting to the\u00a0Warehouse Controller, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:<\/p>\n
Producing and submitting daily stock counts and variance reports.
\nEnsuring stock records are up to date and are accurate all the time.
\nEnsuring that product in the Warehouse is properly stacked and clearly labelled.
\nReceiving stock from plants and accurate accounting of packed product, empties and pallets.
\nEnsuring that no product expires by daily monitoring shelf life and implementing FIFO stock management system.
\nConducting month-end stock take.
\nWarehouse hygiene should meet food industry standards and security of stock should be in place.
\nImplementing management systems such as NOSA.
\nAny other stock related duties as assigned within the Warehouse Operations.<\/p>\n
This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate
\nCertificate\/Diploma in Purchasing & Supply, Stores & Stock Management, Accounting or equivalent.
\nBe computer literate
\nKnowledge of SAP is added advantage.
\nAt least 2 years working experience in a warehouse environment.
\nHonest, reliable and self-disciplined.
\nAbility to work under pressure.<\/p>\n
