Ltd"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Overview<br \/>\nThe Loader Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery used to load, unload, and move materials, products, and equipment within a manufacturing or processing facility. This role ensures that loading and unloading activities are completed on time, in compliance with safety regulations, and in alignment with company processes.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\nOperate loading equipment such as forklifts, front-end loaders, and other heavy machinery to transport materials or products within the facility.<br \/>\nLoad and unload materials from trucks, containers, and pallets, ensuring materials are placed in the appropriate storage areas or production lines.<br \/>\nInspect machinery before use to ensure proper working conditions, identifying any malfunctions or safety concerns and reporting them to maintenance personnel.<br \/>\nEnsure safety protocols are followed when operating heavy machinery, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to company safety policies.<br \/>\nCoordinate with team members and other departments (e.g., production, shipping) to ensure materials are available when needed and that there is no disruption in the production process.<br \/>\nMaintain accurate records of materials moved, loads transported, and any damage or incidents involving the machinery.<br \/>\nEnsure cleanliness and organization of loading areas to optimize workflow and reduce the risk of accidents.<br \/>\nAssist with inventory control, helping to track stock levels and alerting supervisors to low or excess materials.<br \/>\nSupport in other warehouse or production activities as needed, such as cleaning or assisting with machinery maintenance.<br \/>\nSkills &amp; Qualifications<br \/>\nHigh school certificate; further certification in equipment operation is preferred.<br \/>\nProven experience operating loaders, forklifts, or other heavy machinery in a manufacturing or industrial environment.<br \/>\nSafety certifications: Forklift Operator certification or similar, OSHA safety training, or equivalent.<br \/>\nKnowledge of load handling and the safe operation of machinery in industrial settings.<br \/>\nPhysical strength and stamina to handle manual labor, heavy lifting, and long shifts.<br \/>\nAttention to detail and ability to spot irregularities in materials, loads, or equipment conditions.<br \/>\nGood communication skills for coordinating with team members, supervisors, and other departments.<br \/>\nBasic troubleshooting skills to identify and address minor equipment issues before reporting them to maintenance.<br \/>\nOrganizational skills for maintaining clear records and inventory logs.<br \/>\nExperience: at least 3 years in a similar role<br \/>\nWorking Conditions<br \/>\nWork environment: Typically in a warehouse, loading dock, or manufacturing plant with exposure to various weather conditions, noise, and large machinery.<br \/>\nShift work: May require working nights, weekends, or rotating shifts depending on the facility\u2019s operation hours.<br \/>\nPhysical demands: The role requires standing, walking, lifting heavy loads, and operating heavy machinery throughout the shift<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
