\nAbout the role:
\nOur client is seeking a smart, hands-on, and entrepreneurial-minded Production Supervisor to manage operations at their feed production facility. This role requires someone who can think critically, take initiative, and drive efficiency in a small but growing operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily feed production process, supervising staff, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating external maintenance. They will play a key role in ensuring operational reliability, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement across the facility.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to schedules
\nLead and supervise a small team of operators and general workers on the feed line
\nMonitor equipment usage, track performance, and keep detailed logs of faults and servicing
\nPlan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance with external service providers
\nIdentify and act on opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity
\nMaintain accurate production and inventory records using simple tracking tools
\nUphold safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times
\nSupport management with operational insights and contribute to strategic decisions<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or relevant technical qualification)
\nMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in feed production or related manufacturing field
\nPractical knowledge of feed mill equipment and production flow
\nStrong mechanical intuition and ability to liaise with external technicians
\nComfortable with basic computer tools (Excel, Word) for record keeping
\nDemonstrated ability to lead small teams and work independently<\/p>\n

Compensation:
