{"id":4787,"date":"2025-08-12T08:02:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-12T08:02:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/human-resource-administration-officer-at-walanda-inc\/"},"modified":"2025-11-22T00:14:29","modified_gmt":"2025-11-22T00:14:29","slug":"human-resource-administration-officer-at-walanda-inc","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=4787","title":{"rendered":"Human Resource &amp; Administration Officer at Walanda Inc"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Purpose: The Human Resource and Administration Officer will be in charge of organizing the company\u2019s HR initiatives to guarantee that its employees are hired, trained, inspired, and retained in an effective and efficient manner.<br \/>\nDuties and responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<p>Finding, attracting, and employing competent applicants for a range of positions inside the organization.<br \/>\nWriting job descriptions, publishing job openings, going over applicants, doing interviews, and choosing the most qualified candidates for the positions.<br \/>\nCreating and carrying out training initiatives to improve staff members\u2019 abilities, skills, and knowledge.<br \/>\nDetermining training needs, creating training materials, and setting up workshops to make sure staff members have the abilities needed for their positions.<br \/>\nManaging employee relations by resolving internal grievances, disputes, and concerns.<br \/>\nMaintain a positive work atmosphere and arbitrate conflicts between management and staff.<br \/>\nDesigning and managing the company\u2019s compensation and benefits packages.<br \/>\nManaging employee benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans, and ensuring the company remains competitive in terms of compensation.<br \/>\nDeveloping and implementing performance appraisal systems to assess employee performance, provide feedback, and set goals for improvement.<br \/>\nEnsure that performance evaluations are conducted fairly and consistently.<br \/>\nOverseeing the implementation and maintenance of HR software and systems that streamline various HR processes, such as payroll, employee records, performance evaluations and attendance tracking.<br \/>\nFocus on identifying and nurturing high-potential employees within the company.<br \/>\nDesigning and implementing initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion within the workplace.<br \/>\nCreating an environment where employees of all backgrounds feel respected and valued.<br \/>\nWorking closely with specific departments or business units to align HR strategies with overall business goals.<br \/>\nBridge between HR and the rest of the company, providing HR support and expertise to managers and employees.<br \/>\nFocus on improving the overall effectiveness and performance of the company.<br \/>\nEnsure that the workplace is safe and complies with health and safety regulations.<br \/>\nDeveloping and implementing safety policies, conduct safety training, and address any hazards or incidents that may arise.<\/p>\n<p>Experience and Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Grade 12 certificate<br \/>\nDiploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or its equivalent<br \/>\n2 years proven work experience<br \/>\nMember of Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM)<br \/>\nPractical working knowledge of employment law<\/p>\n<p>Desired Competencies<\/p>\n<p>Sober minded<br \/>\nGood management skills<br \/>\nAttention to detail<br \/>\nGreat sense of urgency<br \/>\nAbility to work under pressure and ability to embrace change.<br \/>\nHigh level of integrity and confidentiality.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
